Elemental Dragons

Suddenly there is a small flame looking like a dragon hanging in the air just before your eyes. Or a stone plops into your glass of water. Wind disrupts all your papers. And all your clothes are wet. So you got a visit from outer space. Literally, for they don't belong to any Tarot dimension. Not even the ones where dragons are normal.   Tarot dimensions often are open to animals or other beings from different dimensions. Normally they have their own pocket dimension, but they found out they can exist here also. And they are drawn to the magical elements wands, cups, swords and pentacles. So you find these small elemental dragons everywhere. To call them a plague would be too much, but they really love humans. And with their special elemental properties they disturb daily routines.
So fire dragons normaly need very hot temperatures but they already were found under water or in deep earth pockets. Water dragons can live in a log fire, have been found drifting through storms and making puddles in the earth. Earth dragons even smother fires and like to be part of storms so no one can see anything for too much dust motes. And wind dragons fan fires and waves.
Elemental dragons make typical monsters under the bed or in the wardrobe of children. They don't need food and they protect the children.
Magicians are able to use them so often an elemental dragon is tied to a magical object. Magical accidents, however, sometimes produce bonded sapient speaking elementals which are difficult to cope with. Useful but annoying. There even is a magical branch of science to produce them intentionally with certain properties.
Fire dragons belong to wands
Water dragons belong to cups
Air dragons belong to swords
Earth dragons belong to pentacles
