  • Pyrope: The Lord of Fire, god of flames, forge-fires, and the primal forces of creation.

The Lesser Deities

The Dragonborn Patron Deities

Each dragonborn clan has its own patron deity, a specific god or goddess to whom they offer devotion and veneration. These patron deities often reflect the clan's unique characteristics, strengths, or cultural practices. Examples include:
  • Kaelith : The patron deity of the ancient Wyrmclaws, associated with wisdom, cunning, and strategic prowess.
  • Aethonix : The patron deity of the reclusive Scalewalkers, linked to the mysteries of the skies, the stars, and the whispers of the cosmos.
  • Korvus   : The patron deity of the stalwart Emberguards, tied to the fiery passions, creativity, and the forge-fires that shape their culture.

Rituals and Worship

Dragonborn worship often takes the form of grand ceremonies, feasts, and festivals, where they honor their patron deities and the Celestial Host. These rituals typically involve offerings of precious stones, metals, or other valued materials, as well as prayers, hymns, and sacred dances.   In addition to these formalized rituals, dragonborn also engage in personal devotions, meditation, and communion with their patron deity through various means, such as: Dreaming: A mystical practice where the dragonborn enters a trance-like state to communicate with their patron deity or receive prophetic visions. Scrying: The use of mirrors, crystals, or other reflective surfaces to gaze upon the divine and seek guidance. Overall, the pantheon of gods and goddesses worshipped by the dragonborn is rich in diversity, symbolism, and cultural significance, serving as a powerful foundation for their spiritual lives and communal practices.
