Third Empire

The Third Empire or Lashen Empire was the successor state to the Second Empire or First Tefaran Empire. It was formed from the at first raid by the islanders of the Lashen who upon seeing the weak resistance got braver and braver, until the nobility of the Tefaran Empire in order to stop the raiding offered to crown whoever would stop the raids. This created a short period of Lashen cultural supremacy in the empire before they themselves assimilated into the Empire and became much like the previous dynasty, the Third Empire is known for its neglect and general pacifism, however, this was more due to how it spent a lot of its time suppressing rebellious voices in the west than a desire for this pacifism. The Third Empire would however eventually be destroyed by one of these rebellions as restrictions on scholarly pursuits caused the White Library Rebellion which eventually destroyed the Third Empire and birthed the Fourth Empire.
