Second Empire

Formed in 497 as the Tefaran Empire, yet proclaimed in 597 as the Second Empire. The Second Empire was the first of the Tefaran Empires that would have a large impact on Tannaric politics, it was the first, largest and some would argue only attempt at restoring the Zarrashi Empire. The Second Empire is most famous for its early days and the "Tefaran Wars" a series of military campaigns which purpose was to conquer Tannar to fully restore the Empire of humanity to its glory. While this initially saw huge success Tefaran eventually met its match in Vanseran who contested their right as successors to the First Empire.
The Second Empire would however remain strong for several centuries as it controlled almost all of the great coast, Obrirun, the three rivers and the jewel itself, Zarrash. However the dark invasion hit it hard and led to the conditions that would make it be conquered a few years afterwards.
