Aasimar

Aasimar are the only people that are not born of a bloodline; that is, the children of aasimar will not necessarily be aasimar themselves.

They could arguably not be considered a separate people at all, given that they do usually bear at least some of the physical characteristics of their parents, but the uniqueness of their innate qualities does truly set them apart.

These qualities are the result of divine influence made flesh, and they are almost always born into devout communities, where such influence can manifest.
