20/2

Two months after Fiadh accepted Ráðúlfr’s courtship, Nikeratos-Lykos learned of their growing relationship and the shift in Ráðúlfr’s demeanor. Viewing Fiadh as a dangerous distraction and threat to his control, he ordered another pack member to kill her. However, Ráðúlfr’s brother, Nikomedes, intervened. Fearing for their lives, Nikomedes orchestrated an elaborate deception, leading each to believe the other had been killed.
This moment shattered Ráðúlfr’s world, leaving him consumed by grief and rage. For Fiadh, the loss forced her to abandon her forge and go into hiding, believing her love had been taken from her by the very forces she had feared. Their separation, built on lies and sacrifice, would haunt them both for years to come.
