Founding

The Order of the Veiled Truth was founded in 287 HE by a group of scholars and judges dedicated to Umbra, the god of knowledge and consequences. The founding was a response to a growing need for an unbiased body that could act independently from the ruling class, ensuring justice and truth remained paramount. The Order’s founders believed that true knowledge, much like shadows, was often hidden and required diligent search and study to reveal.
