Draconic

Draconic is an ancient and powerful language believed to be one of the oldest in existence, originating from dragons and passed down through their kin, such as kobolds and dragonborn. It is a language steeped in authority, magic, and tradition, often associated with arcane rituals and spells due to its intrinsic connection to magical forces.   Draconic is known for its sharp consonants, rolling syllables, and hissing undertones, giving it a commanding and almost primal sound. It is often described as a language of dominance, meant to be spoken with confidence and precision. Words are structured to emphasize power and intent, making it well-suited for both commanding obedience and invoking magical energies.   The grammar of Draconic is highly structured and formal, reflecting the orderly and hierarchical nature of dragons. Sentences often follow strict word orders, with verbs placed early to emphasize action. The language also incorporates layered meanings, allowing speakers to convey multiple ideas simultaneously through tone and inflection.   Draconic script is composed of angular runes that resemble claw marks, arranged in patterns that reflect balance and symmetry. These symbols are often etched into stone, metal, or bone, and they possess an arcane resonance, making them ideal for enchantments, wards, and spellcasting.   Because of its age and magical influence, Draconic has served as the foundation for many other languages, particularly those associated with magic, such as Infernal and Abyssal. It is still widely studied by scholars, mages, and sorcerers seeking to understand ancient spells and rituals.   Draconic is more than a language; it is a symbol of knowledge, strength, and power. Speaking it is often seen as a sign of wisdom and mastery, particularly in magical circles.
