Pelletine

Pelletine, or Pa'alatiin as it's known in Ta'agra, is the Southern region of Elsweyr. It is dominated by vast jungles and woodlands. Torval is the capital city and home to the religious head of Elsweyr, The Mane. The State itself is deeply intwined in the Moon Sugar trade, making it extremely wealthy despite the legality of the substance in much of Tamriel.

Leadership

• Ri'Do'Kesh, Mane of Pelletine: The current, controversial Mane of Pelletine was not selected through traditional means nor does he practice the old traditions.The immodest Cathay-Raht is more akin to a warlord, wearing locks from the mains of his defeated rivals rather than those of his followers. Ri'Do'Kesh is considered by those who have met him to be arrogant, self-serving, and eager for war.

• Khahur, High Shaman A Cathay elder that mentored Ri'Do'Kesh and helped him tap into the primal spirit of the Khajiiti, if the stories are to be believed. Fact or fiction, the High Shaman leads the Mane's cult, fueling the aggression of Pelletine

• Do'ji, Crescent Commander: The Mane demands the best of his elite Crescent Guard, and Do'ji delivered. She is a brutal warrior that knows how to use her claws to make a point, yet is often lauded as a skilled speaker. Many in the Empire believe that it is her presence that has reduced hostilities across the borders of Pelletine. Be it through intimidation or a silver tongue, Do'ji has done much for peace with Anequina.
