Cyrodiilic Empire

The Mede Dynasty has been a pale comparison to the Septims. In the 3d Era, every piece of Tamriel was part of the Empire. Now, It consists of Cyrodiil, a slowly rebuilding Morrowind, and a cut off High Rock. Beneath the Emperor himself, the Elder Council works on day to day issues and drafts policy for the Emperor to review. The Council is comprised of 30 heads of the richest families in Cyrodiil, and the High Chancellor leads them. At the local level, a Count/Countess presides over each of the 8 counties

Central Government

Emperor Attrebus Mede II: Young and determined, Attrebus has moved quickly to stabilize his decaying Empire. His short reign has been surprisingly well received and organized, earning the trust of his people, and worrying others

Lord High Chancellor Karien Aedihre: An Altmer citizen of the Empire whom many suspect to be a Thalmor sympathizer, Karien has been unpopular with the more common folk of the Empire. Her station has been challenged a few times over the last couple decades, but she always comes out on top

Imperial Battlemage Alaiard Vetowald: One of Attrebus' more popular decisions was the reinstatement of the Imperial Battlemage position. The Breton worked as a farmer in his youth, studying late into his off hours before joining the Synod. Aside from a powerful image, he serves as a voice for those without summer and winter estates.

Chief Councilor Decimo Vongola: The Vongola family is a bit of a wild card. Most of the Elder Council come from families that held their seats during the Septim Dynasty. Vongola only rose to power in the last 100 years. They helped rebuild kvatch and in the process took possession of much of the surrounding lands and some businesses within. It is believed that the Don of the Vongola family doesnt come to their position by blood, but by selection.

Chief Councilor Vincente Capo: An imposing figure to be sure, Don Capo is the current master of Hoarfrost Castle between Chorrol and Bruma. He has his fingers all kinds of business, with much of being dubiously legal. He is, without a doubt, the richest man on the council and is rumored to use his money and power to get his way when it comes to policy

Military/Intelligence Leadership

General Decunus Cullio: Some Generals call their shots from the rear, some hide in their forts, others still become more politician than soldier. General Cullio is none of these men. He commands with the mentality that if he is unwilling to make a charge or take a risk, he won't ask it of his men. This policy has made him popular with the rank & file, but many officers and commanders believe it makes him soft or unwilling to make hard choices in battle.

Legate Rimaro Purellis: The famed One-Man Cavalry currently oversees Legion forces in Colovia. Their main focus is making sure goods move safely between Alinor, Valenwood, and the Empire, officially.

Legate Breyna Blackthorn: A peerless warrior, Legate Blackthorn fought against her native Nords in the Civil War. Her loyalty and bravery saw her promoted and she now commands the Nibenay Legions from Bruma, remaining wary of her brethren to the North

Captain Spada Passero: Entrusted to keep his sharp eyes on the city of Anvil, Spada brings a level of lighthearted calmness to nearly any situation. He serves the Legion proudly however, the Akviri blade he wields has made him no friends among the Thalmor

Commander Nattelia Accumnus: Spymaster, Bodyguard, Assassin, or all of the above? Commander Accumnus leads the Penitus Oculatus and acts as the personal guard of Emperor Attrebus. She has made it clear in her career that if you are a threat to to the Empire or the Emperor in particular, she is a threat to you.

Professor Polpo Tempesta: The young Professor takes on a slightly altered role from his compatriots within the Penitus Oculatus. While aware of pending investigations, he doesnt concern himself with most of the books and tomes in the library. Instead, he crafts specialty equipment and weapons to aid the Inquisitors.

County Leadership

Count Anvil, Casudus Umbranox: The Counts family has presided over Anvil for generations. The line nearly ended during the Oblivion Crisis but, thankfully, his great grandfather reappeared in time. It wouod have been a shame to lose a family that has done so well for their peoole

Countess Bravil, Pellesia Terentius: The severe Countess often feels forgotten by the Empire. The city rests near the Anequina border, posing a risk if the Dominion decides to escalate once more. In response to this threat, and a lack of response from the Emperor, Bravil has tightened the guard and restricted access to the city.

Count Bruma, Adven Carvain: Nordic by blood, the Carvain family has served Bruma and the Emire well over generations. Some of the less tolerant citizens believe that the Count is a Stormcloak sympathizer, while the majority realize his diplomatic skills have kept goods moving to and from the isolated High Rock, for now.

Countess Cheydinhal, Athril Indarys: Cheydinhal has been through a renaissance of sorts in the last 200 years. Due to the city's position in eastern Cyrodiil, it is considered one of the safer locations in the Empire. The Countess has encouraged these masters through festivals and exhibitions.

Count Chorrol, Carilo Valga: The well fortified city of Chorrol stands as a bastion containing the headquarters of the Fighters Guild. Count Valga has eagerly been working with the Guild and the Legion to secure western Cyrodiil. He has been involved in emergency plans in case of trouble with Skyrim, Hammerfell, or Valenwood begin once more.

Count Kvatch, Damired Bontford: When it began, the Kvatch rebuild was slow going. The survivors didn't have much, and the Empire had much bigger problems ahead of it. 30 years ago, there were even talks of scrapping the project until a young Damired arrived with his own private fortune. With his resources and aid of Skingrad's Vongola family, the work was completed and Damired found himself Count Kvatch. While his rule is considered a competent one, there are many who question the morality of buying a Countship.

Countess Leyawiin, Alessiana Caro: The Caro family has long looked over Leyawiin despite a... less than stellar reputation. It is said the Countess looks down on the "beast races." Flaws aside, Alessiana is a stalwart servanr of the Empire and will do her part to protect it from invaders

Count Skingrad Janus Hassildor IV: People outside of Skingrad are suspicious of the Hassildor's. Rumor has it they are rarely seen during the day, and that each son is oddly identical to their father. Citizens of Skingrad brush these rumors aside, asserting that the Hassildor's are great men with nothing to hide.
