The forces of Dwarven Princes Ethron and Thorak Vidar clash with the Southern Elven Legion, led by General Kalor Illustra in and around the town of Alu'cazdhar.
Over the course of three weeks, several skirmishes take place in and around Alu'cazdhar. The scattered and frequent fights cause chaos. Many fleeing civilians are killed in the confusion and a large part of the town is destroyed. The battle ends in a stalemate with both sides withdrawing after taking too many casualties.
