Gadrick Stonefoot is a middle-aged human soldier employed as a guard in the city of Kalaman.

Description

Gadrick is a middle-aged man with a thin beard and sullen eyes. He sports deep lines on his face from years of fighting and protecting the people of Kalaman, and is almost always seen wearing his studded leather armor and helmet. The only time he is visibly unarmed is in the Wanderer's Rest, a tavern he enjoys visiting with this patrol partner, Serafina.

Personality

Gadrick is a simple and straightforward man, often preferring to spark conversation than listen to it. However, especially when drinking with friends, he is known to crack a few jokes and liven the mood. He has plenty of stories about being a city guard, often to his partner Serafina's dismay. Gadrick is definitely streetwise, probably from growing up in city he now defends.

Abilities

Gadrick is a capable soldier and guard, though his combat proweess isn't anything spectacular or worthy of note. Gadrick's main ability is in livening the mood at the drinking table, often being able to find common ground amongst strangers to get a conversation going,

Gadricks main friend is Serafina, a patrol partner assigned to him by Marshall Nestra Vendri. The two are nearly inseparable, often seen patrolling the streets of Kalaman together, if they aren't at the Wanderer's Rest getting a drink.

Enemies

As a career city guard, Gadrick is responsible for plenty of arrests in the city of Kalaman, all of which probably harbor some sort of resentment for being caught by him. Other than that, most people seem to like Gadrick and the good conversations he is able to provide to anyone willing to listen.

History

Gadrick has been a career city guard since he turned 18, as he will tell you over any drink of your choice. Gadrick has a story for every day of the week, and every week of the year regarding his arrests, pursuits, and cases over the years. He still resides in the same district he grew up in, and seems proud to serve the city he's lived in his whole life.
