Drake Tilden

Drake Tilden is a 3500 year old Sea Elf currently in the employ of Backaris the Younger Uth Estide and on the governing council of Kalaman.

Description

A stout and stocky Sea Elf, Drake does not share the same physical attributes common to his race. Often wearing no shirt, Drake's body is covered in tattoos from his many adventures. Drake prefers a weaved beard and loose white hair, in contrast to the well groomed stereotype of the Sea Elves.

Personality

Drake is a no-nonsense maurauder with little regard for people's emotions, and even less regard for their respect. A self-made man, Drake Tilden has wandered the corners of Ansalon over his many years, often picking up jobs available to him to get by. With this life experience, Drake is fond of telling great descendants of the people he once knew about the less-than-reputable dealings of their ancestors, often in an insulting way. Despite his standoff nature, Drake Tilden is a man of commitment, seeing through his obligations and promises despite often outliving the people he makes them to.

Abilities

After 3 millenia of training, Drake Tidlen is an expert hand-to-hand combatant. Often preferring to fight with only his fists, Drake has been known to use improvised weaposn when they become available to him. Despite his stellar combat skills, Drake is also an avid sailor, capable of commanding his own ship should a crew present itself.

Friends

Though few people would consider the straight-talker Drake as a friend, he made an impression with the Sea Dogs (whose name he coined himself) on his practice of self-made wealth. After some time, he also garnered the attention of Sir Backaris the Younger Uth Estide, who now operates and funds the Sea Dogs, leaving Drake beholden to the young lord until Backaris the Younger's passing.

Enemies

After joining the Sea Dogs, Drake made adversaries of the Greenshield Regiment, due to the standing schism between the two parties. However, in recent events, Drake has proven useful to the Greenshield Regiment in countless missions.

History

Drake often does not talk of his own history and personal experiences, unless he speaks about the sexual favors he's received from someone's great great great grandmother. He was known as a mercenary for hire under the Ironclad Regiment, though since it's involvement in the massacre of Vogler, he has since moved on to the employ of the Sea Dogs. Now that war wages at the gates of Kalaman, Drake was appointed to the council governing the city after the previous leaders were murdered by Sir Caradoc.
