Feast of Crows

The Feast of Crows takes place around Mid-winter, and involves gift-giving.

History

Legend says that on this day a strange entity known as The Crow Man comes to towns and transforms bad children into crows who then become part of the murder that signal his arrival.
To avoid being taken by The Crow Man, who takes the form or a monstrous scarecrow, children make gifts for their parents to thank them for caring for them and to apologise for any bad behaviour.

Execution

The feast day is usually a time of celebration that ties into the Mid-Winter celebrations that mark the time of the days getting longer.
