Hela's Garden

After the darkness curse within Heorot was relocated, a forest was grown at the heart of the shadows, using magic to keep it alive without the sun. Walls of stone were formed around this forest, keeping whatever horror that haunts it within. The forest was named due to the belief that the Queen Matriarch keeps her most horrifying undead monstrosities within, to be used in her endless expansion war.

Fauna & Flora

Few living creatures populate the forest, but an unusual number of aggressive undead have been noted to stalk around, attacking anything that moves. Though mindless, they occassionally show a degree of awareness that allows them to be more deadly, usually around the time of the Fest of the Empire. Some reports even say they speak...
Plants are sustained entirely upon supplies of magic, but even so the forest maintains a dead and decayed atmosphere due to the endless night.
