Weird Wingham's Gate Market

This weapon store has a permanent place in the Gate, rented by Weird Wingham of Palischuk. His son, Orbash, runs the store and has taken up his father's interest in "weird weapons".   The wall opposite the door is lined with practice mannequins. Behind the mannequins the wall is covered in thick corkwood. Often customers will enter the shop to see Orbash practicing with a weird weapon, or trying to figure out how it works. He often works out shirtless.   Orbash will purchase almost any weapon at half its base value. He stays away from weapons that look like they are personalized in an effort not to get caught up in any smuggling ring.   Orbash sells weapons, ammunition, armor, and shields. He generally keeps several of each simple weapon in stock, barrels of ammunition, plus one or two of the most common martial weapons (longswords, etc.). For armor, he usually has several shields, two or three suits of light armor, one or two suits of medium armor and a smattering of heavy armor, except plate mail. Any customer asking for plate mail will be measured for fit in the store. He has a contract with Marko Orothiar in Virdin to craft any requested plate mail, which usually takes one to two tendays   For customers looking for a deal there is a chance that Orbash has a second-hand version of any particular weapon or armor, which he usually sells for three-quarters the cost of a newly-forged item.
