Powerful Adventurers

Powerful Adventurers shake the world, and have the threads of fate in their hands. Their actions go beyond goblin holes and ogre dens. They have implications beyond themselves and can affect entire regions. And Fate seems to agree, because the quests and challenges these heroes face grow greater and greater.
These adventurers can influence the world in ways that less experienced adventurers can only aspire to. Including:

Magic Item Attunement

• At 11th level, characters can attune to one additional item, bringing their total attunements to 4.

• At 16th level, characters may attune to a maximum of 5 items.

Strongholds and Followers

While any character may build or purchase a base of operations. Experienced heroes often have the means for establishing strongholds. A stronghold grants the hero advanced abilities, including Stronghold Actions (as creatures' lair action). It attracts followers to the hero and allows the hero to become a political force in the region. (See Stronghold and Followers rulebook)
