Elara

Elara is something of an enigma to her neighbors. An elder, she has chosen not to sit on the Council of Elders and generally keeps to herself. Everyone knows that Elara spent much of her youth "abroad", but no one is quite sure where she went. Most hin assume she was one of those "adventuring types". Her neighbors do know that she is a skilled herbalist and midwife, although she doesn't possess any divine magic.
When pressed on her background, Elara becomes defensive and secretive. She has ended such conversations quickly and rudely, sometimes escorting a visitor out of her burrow with a definitive "good day" as she slams the door.
