Once a place of immense beauty called
Ajamerei, The Bright Wood this wasteland of death spreads out into the plains like a cancer. A kingdom of the dead, at night the forest still glows but it is the sickly green of death. Drifting clouds in purples and grey permeate from the ground filling the air with a fettered stench. If you watch the woods at night shadows play within.
Nothing of the living walks within her boundary but things still play within her groves. The
Horath Assemby sent magi from all corners of the realm and with great sacrifice they managed to erect the magical field that stops her spreading any further out. Perhaps one day they will solve this riddle but until then she is a wasteland sealed off to the world.
