Ilex

Ilex is the capital of Haliastur Republic. Replicating traditional Haliastran settlements, it sits entirely within the branches of a group of Relamptare Trees. Traditionally, these cities comprised a large number of wooden platforms with buildings on them. With Ilex, however, the modern Haliastran elves have put their knowledge of genetic engineering to use creating trees that actually form large platforms. The city is illuminated by fae lights. A network of tamed wyverns can be ridden to fly between the platforms. Several high platforms comprise Ilex Spaceport, the primary spaceport for the republic. The spaceport has shuttles to Utu Station every five minutes.
