Grothlut

Grothluts appear as sluglike abominations. While their head and torsos are vaguely human, their arms are rubbery and move awkwardly at their sides. Wretched creatures, they moan piteously when other creatures are near, perhaps as the last remnants of their shattered human consciousness pleads to be free from their horrid warped form.

Appearance

A grothlut's body is a white, formless, legless, hairless, slug-like mass with a vaguely humanoid upper body. In the fleshwarping process, their arms become rubbery and lack strength, drooping to their sides. Facial features smooth out—the nose sinks in, the cheeks widen and flatten, and the eyes become pale and seem to meld in with the surrounding skin.

Abilities

Grothluts lose most of their intellect, becoming practically mindless, and feel nothing but the pain of their transformation. When other creatures approach, they make pitiable cries, believed to be what is left of their tortured minds asking for release from their current form, before lumbering forward to attack and feed. This crying also causes non-grothluts around them to feel sickened.   Grothluts are immune to all forms of acid and abilities that affects the mind.   Grothluts attack with claws and regurgitate digestive acid, which is use before ingesting food. On death or battered into unconsciousness, its digestive organs rupture, exploding into viscera because of the freed alchemical agents, and spraying the the surroundings with alchemical acid and poison.
