Flammability Aspect

Written by bananafire

Effect

Flammability as an Aspect changes the ability of an object to catch fire, and provide fuel for that fire.

Gathering

Flammability is most easily taken from heavily flammable objects such as wood.

Uses

  • Inflame: Giving Flammability to an inflammable object, then enough Heat for it to reach its auto-ignition temperature, causing the object to catch flame.
  • Floating fire: Giving air Cohesion to keep it together, then using inflame on the air itself, making a fire with seemingly no source.
  • Flamethrower: Continuously using floating fire, then giving the fire Velocity to launch it forward towards a target in a steady jet of flame.
  • Fireball: Using floating fire, then Giving the air a large amount of Pressure, concentrating a large deal of fire in a single point. Then Taking Cohesion away from the fire after launching it forward with Velocity, allowing the fireball to rapidly expand outward. Fireball can also use a physical source that already holds itself together such as a rock, so that the Caster doesn't need to give the air Cohesion, this method is cheaper and usually referred to as Bomb.
  • Fireproof: Taking Flammability away from an object so that it will no longer catch fire.
