Cantrip: Pulsating Sentinel
Aspetheurgy (Conjuration)
You cause a small, iridescent orb to appear at a point you can see within range. The orb remains in the space, hovering and pulsating with silent energy until the start of your next turn. When a creature starts its turn within 5 feet of the orb or moves within 5 feet of it during its turn, the orb explodes, directing its energy towards that creature. That creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become sheathed in booming energy until the start of your next turn.
If the creature willingly moves 5 feet or more before then, the target takes 1d8 thunder damage as they are suddenly overcome by intense vibrations. If they critically failed their saving throw, they are additionally dazed until the beginning of their next turn.
- At Higher Levels. The spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
