Sorcery (Evocation)
You create a whip of crackling electricity and crack it outwards at a creature you choose that you can see within 30 feet. Make a melee spell attack. If it hits, the target takes 1d6 lightning damage, and is ensnared by the lightning leash. Until the start of your next turn, as a reaction if the enemy moves outside this spell's range, you can yank on the leash. The target must make a Strength saving throw or take 1d6 lightning damage and have its movement reduced by half. Once it is outside of the spell's range, the leash dissipates.
- At Higher Levels. Both damage rolls increase by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).
