6th-level Spell: Whiteout
Sorcery/Whispering (Evocation)
You create a terrible ice storm, occupying a 30-foot radius
sphere centered on a point you can see within range. The
area is heavily obscured, and any creature entering the area
on its turn or starting its turn there must make a Constitution
saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 6d8 cold damage
and has its speed reduced by half until the end of its next
turn. A creature whose speed is already reduced by this spell
is additionally restrained until the end of its next turn. Water
in the area instantly freezes.
- At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 6th.
