Sorcery (Conjuration)

You conjure five bitterly cold balls in your hand. A creature can hold a ball, hand it to another creature, throw it up to 60 feet, or use it as ammunition for a sling or appropriate weapon. A ball shatters on impact and explodes in a 15-foot radius or evaporates when the spell ends.   Each creature within the area must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d8 cold damage and have its movement speed halved until the end of its next turn. On a success, it takes half as much damage and no other effects.  
  • At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you create an additional ball for each level above 6th.
