6th-level Spell: Bastion of Defense

Dream Magic (Conjuration)

You begin to pull an Echo deep from within Limbo of a dream or memory of an ancient citadel out into the world at an empty point on the ground you can see within range. You must be within the Wilds in order to cast this spell. The citadel occupies a 120-foot by 60-foot rectangle.   The citadel has at least one large door and takes the shape of a rectangular, stone octagon with two levels (with the top level half as big as the bottom level), with trapezoidal plinths dotting the tops of each tier. A strange, low resonance emits throughout the citadel, calming those within.   The citadel holds various rooms which you determine upon completion of the spell, but it must contain at least 1 room that looks to contain a stepped pool of crystal-clear water, as well as an armory. Sconces containing small, yellow crystals provide light throughout the rooms.   The citadel is under the Alarm spell as long as the echo lasts, with you choosing which creatures won't set off the alarm and whether the alarm is mental or audible.   When you cast the spell, choose one or more of the following creature types for the citadel to oppose: Aberrations, Hearts, Stars, Swords, Pentacles, or Undead. If such a creature attempts to enter the citadel, it must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, it is frightened of the citadel for the next 24 hours. On a success (or if it cannot be frightened), attacks against it have advantage while the creature is within the citadel, as the resonance of the temple deepens into infrasound, causing dizziness and nausea.   When the spell ends, any creatures or objects inside the citadel are expelled into the open spaces nearest to the entrance. Additionally, casting this spell on the same spot every day for a year makes the echo permanent, and counts as a level 1 Keep.   Source: TfV
