5th-level Spell: Tornado
Sorcery/Whispering (Transmutation)
A whirling tornado erupts, filling a 20-foot-radius,
40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point you can see
within range.
Any creature starting its turn within the tornado
must make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, it
takes 4d8 bludgeoning damage and is thrown 10 feet
in a random horizontal direction and 40 feet up
(taking normal falling damage when it comes back
down). On a success, the creature takes half as much
damage and isn’t thrown.
As a bonus action, you can move the tornado up to
30 feet in any direction. All ranged attacks passing
through the tornado automatically miss, and ranged
weapon attacks against targets within 20 feet of the
tornado are made at disadvantage.
