Whispering (Necromancy)

You conjure a horde of restless specters, sending them charging forward to torment a creature you can see within range. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, it takes 10d8 necrotic damage and is frightened of you until the end of your next turn. On a success, it takes half as much damage and is not frightened.

Every other creature in a 15-foot radius around the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 3d8 necrotic damage.

  • At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage taken by both the primary and secondary targets increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 5th.
