Aspetheurgy (Transmutation)

Choose one mundane object weighing 1 to 5 pounds that you are carrying and accelerate its velocity to intense speeds. The object flies in a straight line up to 500 feet in a direction you choose before disintegrating, stopping early if it impacts a solid surface. If the object would strike a creature, that creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the object strikes the target and stops moving. When the object strikes something, the object and what it strikes each take 8d6 bludgeoning damage (or another damage type such as piercing or slashing if appropriate to the object).

The impact releases a shockwave that strikes each creature within a 15-foot radius of the point of impact (including the target), causing them to take an additional 2d6 thunder damage. Objects and structures take twice as much damage from the shockwave.

  • At High Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage of the impact and shockwave both increase by 1d6 damage for each slot level above 4th.
