Balls of ice slam to the ground in a 20-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within range for the
duration. The balls of ice turn the storm's area of effect into
difficult terrain. Creatures starting their turn in the cylinder
must make a Dexterity saving throw. They take 5d4
bludgeoning damage and 5d4 cold damage on a failed save,
or half as much damage on a successful one.
- At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the bludgeoning and cold damage each increase by 1d4 for each slot level above 4th. Additionally, the radius and height increase by 5 feet for each slot level above 4th.
