2nd-level Spell: Bounding Surge
Sorcery (Transmutation)
Elemental power builds around you before unleashing in a sudden explosion. Select one of the following damage types: acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. Each creature within 10 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw as a surge of energy expands outward, taking 2d8 damage of the chosen type on a failure, or half as much on a success. You can then fly up to 15 feet without provoking opportunity attacks as you propel yourself using the released energy.
- At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 and the amount you can fly increases by 5 feet for each slot level above 2nd.
