Sorcery (Necromancy)

You send a pulse of necrotic energy towards a target, sucking its life essence away. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 3d6 necrotic damage, and you gain half the damage dealt as temporary hit points. These temporary hit points fade after 1 minute.  
  • At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
