Maggie Thomas

Maggie Thomas is a travel reporter with an eye for discovery. She has single-handedly found three ancient ruins in South America, found a new volcano in the pacific, has identified three potential locations for ancient civilizations in the well explored areas of Europe, and she has located and identified four new magical species. Since she reached the age of majority at eighteen she has not settled in any one place, rather choosing to move wherever the winds take her and seeing what she can learn. She has a Youtube channel which is essentially her diary that has remained in the top ten travel channels for the last ten years. Her familiar style and willingness to try just about anything have a universal appeal.
Maggie is a winger. Her wing type is that of the Jackdaw. She has black hair and eyes and a pale gray complexion. Though naturally highly curious, her friends describe her as quiet and contemplative. She is a part of The Rookery, Inc and is funded by them and allowed space in any Rookery building around the globe. She brought worldwide notoriety with her discoveries though she always describes them as coincidences of her following her own curiosity. 
Maggie does not have higher education, which is another appealing feature of her broadcasts. She does not have a film crew and does her own filming with a combination of things like GoPro and her phone camera. She also does her own editing. While many have feared for her since she does travel alone, she had the training necessary to survive in most environments and with the backing of The Rookery she always has the tools and supplies she needs. Her contributions to the world's knowledge of its own history and the beauty of nature is without parallel.
