Anglian Stinkfens Cat Species in Tales from the Peppermint Twist | World Anvil

Anglian Stinkfens Cat

by artflow ai by Absinthe/Cdrahonnet
Following the Black Tide, so many poor innocent pets were lost or left behind in the ruins and toxic filth that covered everything. While many of humanities little friends perished some hardier individuals of the domestic and wild stray cat populations survived and thrived.    Though living in the now toxic Anglian Stinkfens meant a limited diet. In the beginning consisting of the carcasses of dead things and things that did not taste nice at all. Time allowed them to mutate and evolve into a feline that could consume those prey items that remained and deal with any toxicity. Feeding on awaken fauna caused additional abilities and development of awakened powers.   The  Anglian Stinkfens cat can conceal itself with it's camouflage awakened ability. This works in the manner of a chameleon lizard. Yet faster at a near instant level of speed. This ability allows the cat to approach with greater stealth and gives a hunting advantage.    The Anglian Stinkfens cat has in a manner retained the memory of having been domesticated. It displays this by either being affectionate and friendly with humanity. Often begging for food and seeking attention by playing games. The other display is mischievous meanness and cruelness. It will destroy items it observes humanity using when possible. It will kill smaller domesticated animals and attack persons with fang and claw if alone or perceived to be vulnerable. Bites and scratches are of particular concern due to the possibility of harboring toxins, pollutants and bacteria.

Nice work! My favorite line: "It will destroy items it observes humanity using when possible."

Now it's time for the awkward wave.
