The Horizon Public House

"So, what's your story?"
The Horizon Public House, better known by its nickname the Imaginary Tavern, is a roadside tavern and inn located within a dimensional nexus. The nexus will appear near travelers who require respite on their journeys, be they merchants, minstrels, adventurers, or emissaries. People can enter from almost anywhere in the Multiverse, but can only leave the same way they came in. No matter how many people enter the tavern, it never seems to be overworked - or overcrowded.
Inside, patrons will be served all varieties of ales, wines, and other drinks, as well as a wide selection of meals. The tavern also has rooms available for rent to anyone wishing to stay the night. By tradition, patrons will often share stories to pass time, either of their own exploits or folk tales and legends they have heard on their travels.
The tavern's namesake is Horizon, the tutelary god of travelers. Horizon created the tavern to serve as a haven for weary travelers and is the official owner. However, Tyler Brennan runs the tavern day-to-day as the bartender and manager.

A good article and concept. How many people could fit into the tavern since its opened to the mutiverse, Has there ever been a time when they could not accept any more people?

That's a pretty cool idea for a tavern, is it run by more than just Tyler? Or are there more staff member? Are these staff all from the same universe or are they from differing universes?

It seems like a good concept, I do wonder though, how is it ensured that one can only exit to where you entered from. Are there multiple doors, one for every patron? Or is it magic of the god Horizon that transports one the second they step through the portal? And what do these portals look like from the non-tavern side? Where does the food and wine come from, is it traded with merchants, or grown on site somewhere?

As always, it would be appreciated if you would stop by my challenge article The Storm Giant Empire and leave some feedback.   If you are looking for things to read from summer camp there is also my Summer Camp 2022 Reading Challenge.. Happy worldbuilding.
