B11. The Artisan

TThe team assembles at Sabbath's request to rendezvous with the VIGIL fleet and contact one of the Vanguard, VASELAR. This artisan is supposed to be capable of capturing images from the Force. It is hoped that he can give Sabbath his first clue in figuring out who his Haunt really is and put him on the path of getting rid of her.

Vaselar grants them a crystal and sends them to the deserted world, Ossus, and an undisturbed nexus. He briefs them with a recording of the location and the events causing its fall, involving a Dashade Assassin, Ak'Ghul Usar. The journey to Ossus is difficult but the piloting of Sola and the Astrogation Droids see them through the violent storms of the Cron Supernovae. They manage to skirt the legacy Imperial defenses and land above the fallen temple and the nexus they were supposed to seek.

Descending into the canyon proved difficult as the storms made everything risky. Tia and Sola both were struck by heat lighting during the descent. They made their way into the fallen temple and the Nexus within. There they attuned, and entered the Force Vergence, only to be caught up in an echo of the battle that sealed the nexus off. There they engaged the forces involved while trying to trap the Spectre haunting Sabbath. The foes kept reappearing as they were defeated, until Sabbath was able to speak the name of the Assassin. He halted the fight and allowed them to engage the Spectre.

The team succeeded, barely escaping death. Bringing with them an image of the Spectre and a Lightsaber with the binding of the Assassin within. They returned the lightsaber and the attuned crystal to the Vigil. There Vaselar was able to craft a likeness of the haunt. Sabbath will use that, and what he believes is the Haunt's broken lightsaber to further his goals of ridding himself of the being.

The Harmonium pays for information on Ossus when the team return to Nigita.

In exploring the limits of his abilities and training with the Vigil pilot, JK, she suggested he seek out VASELAR, a gifted Artisan and member of the Vanguard.
