Hidden from the bulk of the galaxy, on the very edge of navigable space, the Adasta system rests as the heart of the Vigil Compact (Republic). A sanctuary from centuries of war in other parts of the galaxy, the Vigil leverages their isolation to their advantage. With no known hyperspace routes into the system, access relies on Force Guided Navigators. to even find.

The system itself appears to have been engineered in some way. The system is too clear of smaller bodies and anomalous orbits. Though given evidence of the efficiency of the Vigil's World Engines, the smaller bodies may have been harvested for construction elsewhere in the system. Clearly the orbital ring of the ZSK Shipyards took far mor material than could have been reasonably mined from the existing moons.

System Defenses

Adasta is patrolled by a significant home fleet. Consisting primarily of their Imperator Class Star Destroyers (BC) and Interrex Class Destroyers (DD), they form an impressive picket line well beyond the planetary defenses. Each world maintains significant land and orbital defenses, with Planetary shields. Colchis, being 85% ocean, relies far more heavily on orbital defenses.

The ZSK Shipyard is also heavily armed to repel any effort to take the orbital refineries and processing facilities. The ring itself is only partially completed. Beyond the main shipyard (geostaionary position facing Adasta) and necessary orbital engine facilities, the rest remains under construction.

Economy

Being cutoff from the rest of the Galaxy, Adasta is reliant on its own resources. Effectively a Kardashev Type II civilization, the Vigil relies on natural resources from all three populated moons, while the World Engines process all other mineral wealth of the system and distribute it through the ZSK Facilitiy. Leveraging their taps on the Holonet, as well as intelligence operatives within the Core Worlds, much of what appears in other parts of the galaxy is able to be procured in-system shortly after appearing elsewhere.

As it has demonstrated with planetary and sector authority, the Vigil may not care about the legality of their replication of retail items.

People

T

he people of the Adasta system are a mix of refugees accrued over the past fifty years of war in the rest of the galaxy. By all appearances, whatever cultural differences, and surprisingly cultural identities, have given way to a unified people, both synthetic and organic. The common language is archaic, however, as GalBasic has been largely abandoned in favor of Massassi which is the alleged language of its founder, Lady Adasta.
