A young acolyte, with a bright future as a priestess of the clergy of Lumenor.
In August 759 AoS, the city of Gadara where her family was currently living at is sacked by the Crimson Horde. Assaulted by the frenzied clergy of Maelvorna, her mother Parmise feared that she and her daughter would bear their accursed children. In a state of utter desparation, Parmise took Shiva's life just before her own.
Fate, or the Crimson Mother's providence, ensured the birth of a healthy baby girl that would never know her mother's sweet embrace.
