Rosaria is an Annahera. She grew up amongst them but they never saw eye to eye. Whilist they believed in guidance through history and learning from the past, Rosaria saw the wonder in the future that was beholden to them by the stars. Seeking to follow the path she believed was right, she departed for beyond the mountains to seek knowledge of astrology in the desert.
Yet the obliteration of her home and her run in with the crimson swarm made her think that this meeting was ordained by the stars and that this is where she was supposed to be. She joined the swarm and sought to give her people another chance at life through Maelvorna's flame.

Rosaria was an outcast of the Annahera. She believed in the guidance of stars and so she left for the desert. That act alone saved her life from the slaughter that would follow. She joined the Crimson swarm not long after.
