My name is Ophelios. I was born and raised in the Brookbanner house in the land of Samira-Sebak. My Father Archibald Brookbanner owned one of the biggest jewelery shops in the kingdom and he was known as the best at recognising valuable gems. As i was growing up i inherited his passion for the craft and wanted to learn more about it myself. But my true ambition came later on in my life.
At the age of 14, i escorted my father to a gem inspection in the lower places of the city, and as he was working i took a stroll through the remnants of the long lost underground city,being so mesmerised by the magnificence of the terrain that i didn't even realise i got lost. i wandered for about half and hour before the workers found me and took me back to my father.
After that experience i felt obliged to find out more about the past cultures and world before ours, so i asked my father to provide me with the education needed in order to fullfill my ambition. And so he did.
Skipping 11 years of relentless reading and learning, after completing my education as an archeologist with specialisation on ancient lore and valuable gems, i was finally tasked to study a mineral in the mines. i spent 6 months studying it as i started realising that the energy emitted from it was hazardous and destroyed me from inside out. but by then it was already too late.My organs started failing, my appetite has deminished, and my life was rapidly fading away. But this was not the end.
