Under Emperor Alastair, the authority and legitimacy of the Emperor were restored through instituting reforms of the nobility and federal government and Emperorship.

The Royal Family was reorganized and brought many who fled back and renamed house Allencourt-Hannover to house Arthunia, dropping the connections to the Allencourt clan and Hannovarian monarchs of Britain. In addition, the Imperial regent was reduced in power, and Emperor Abdication was formalized as well as additional obligations for the nobles were created to keep them in line. The Royal Army was created as the Emperor's personally financed army and noble retinue were limited in size inside of the renamed capital of Arthunia. As part of regaining land, Britannia joined a war in Europe in 2341 on the side of Germany and Japan against France and Russia resulting in Britannia reclaiming its lost territory from France. Most Importantly Britannia proved she was once again a great power and capable of affecting major conflicts.
