Elders and leaders of the Iazog species.  

Soulfinder class: 5E D&D

  Soulfinders are the esteemed spiritual leaders and healers of the Iazog, attuned to the energies of the natural world and the intricate balance of life. They channel their innate connection with the spiritual realm to heal wounds, cleanse ailments, and guide their people on the path of harmony. As a Soulfinder, you are a beacon of light in the shadows, drawing upon the essence of nature to restore and protect.  

Class Features:

 

Hit Points

  Hit Dice: 1d8 per Soulfinder level Hit Points at 1st Level: 8 + your Constitution modifier Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d8 (or 5) + your Constitution modifier per Soulfinder level after 1st   Proficiencies   Armor: Light armor
Weapons: Simple weapons, shortbows, longbows
Tools: Herbalism kit
Saving Throws: Wisdom, Charisma
  Skills: Choose two from Medicine, Nature, Religion, Insight, and Survival
  Equipment   You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background: (a) a simple weapon or (b) a shortbow and 20 arrows (a) a priest's pack or (b) an explorer's pack Leather armor, a staff, and an herbalism kit Spellcasting   Ability  
  • Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your Soulfinder spells.
  • Spell Save DC: 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
  • Spell Attack Modifier: Your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
  • Ritual Casting: You can cast any Soulfinder spell you know as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag.
  • Spellcasting Focus: You can use a staff as a spellcasting focus for your Soulfinder spells.

  • Nature's Blessing

      At 1st level, your connection to nature allows you to harness its powers. You learn the Druidcraft cantrip. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this cantrip.  

    Nature's Touch

      Starting at 2nd level, your healing abilities are enhanced. When you use a spell slot to cast a spell that restores hit points, the creature healed gains temporary hit points equal to your Soulfinder level + your Wisdom modifier.  

    Spiritual Connection

      At 6th level, you establish a spiritual connection to the natural world. You gain resistance to necrotic damage, and you have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.  

    Harmony's Embrace

      Beginning at 10th level, you become a conduit of healing energy. Whenever you cast a spell that restores hit points to a creature, you can choose to restore additional hit points equal to your Soulfinder level to one creature within 30 feet of you.  

    One with Nature

      At 14th level, you gain the ability to temporarily merge with the essence of nature itself. As an action, you can assume an ethereal form for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits:  
  • You have resistance to all damage.
  • You can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. You take 1d10 force damage if you end your turn inside an object.
  • You have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

  • Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest. Soulfinders are the spiritual pillars of the Iazog, adept at healing and guiding their people. Through their connection to the natural world, they channel the energies of nature to protect and restore. With their spellcasting abilities and unique features, Soulfinders embody the harmony and balance sought by the Iazog,
