Neryn (Neh-RIN)
The Tidecaller
Neryn is a member of the Elari, a group of divine beings formed by the Creator at the dawn of time to act as stewards over the fundamental forces of Creation. As the Elari of Water, Neryn is responsible for maintaining the balance of water within Taeva, and holds dominion over all bodies of water throughout the world great and small, making her one of the four Empyrean Elari most directly tied to the Mortal Realm. Among the mortal races of Taeva, particularly sailors and those living near the coastlines, Neryn is revered as the greatest defender of Taevas seas and oceans, and the embodiment of adaptability (in reflection of waters ability flow around obstacles).

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Neryn has a tall, lean body consisting of a humanoid upper half covered in sleek armour and a shark-like tail.
Body Features
Neryns has a body that's humanoid from the waist up, with skin similar to that of sea mammals, and a shark-like tail in place of legs.
Facial Features
Neryn has a human-like face with pointed, fin-like ears, dark teal hair that appears to constantly flow as if submerged in water, and glowing teal eyes with black sclera.
Identifying Characteristics
Neryn possesses various aquatic traits, including gills on the sides of the neck, fin-like ears, and a shark-like tail in place of their lower half, which serves as their most recognisable feature.
Special abilities
As the Elari of Water, Neryn possesses a number of water based abilities, including the ability to shape and direct the flow of nearby water, as well as summoning water, usually in the form of orbs or high-pressure blasts. Additionally, Neryn possesses some storm-based abilities, such as the ability to fire bolts of lightning. Due to her divine nature, these abilities aren't limited by Aether like they would be for a mortal, allowing her to use them as often and to as great of an extent as she wishes.
