Am I mistaken in thinking that you’re not going to die unless some foolish thing kills you? Sister, we have the promise of endless time together.
The Empire feels so far away from where I am now - not even in the Outlands but so far South that the soul flames of my family are just specks on the horizon. Still - thank you for doing the work to establish our family.
I’m glad to hear that there will be space for Osyr back home. The Crystal Spires have plenty of space, but I worry about humans and Osyr in such close quarters at all times. The gap of experience and perspective between these two races is hard to overcome…much harder than that between humans and elves (and even that is no easy feat). I have also uncovered another cache of sleeping Osyr beneath Deldrin. Black Tourmaline has kept them safe all these years beneath the lake, but she is too wounded to be woken. Teacher has advised us that it will be a matter of sheer magical strength to heal and wake her, but it will not be difficult. It has been such a long time since there was a simple solution to a complicated problem…I’m looking forward to getting back to the North and taking care of it.
Onyx will be most welcome, and I can certainly send people back with him. There is actually a young Osyr who might appreciate some space from his peers…Thalien has been teaching him. Are you ready to have your kin visit?
