The letter from Aunt Vestil is relayed through Hella.

It's been too long and I hear the little girl I once schooled in strategy now has a little one of her own. Tell him his grand auntie will prepare a suitable game for him when we're finally able to meet in person. I don't expect to have much to teach him, I'm sure you have his education well in hand. Just consider it a teacher's pride to see how her lessons have been passed down by the niece she's most proud of.
I wish I could keep this as just a letter between family, but I'm sure you've guessed that something must be important for me to take the risk of having Hella forward a letter for me (she's sharp by the way, I'm providing the intelligence for her operations down here and she asks good questions.)
Something strange happened in the Collective. A man calling himself the Demon King Long Yue came out of the mountains, flying on the reanimated corpse of a red dragon. He's meeting with the Collective to negotiate support against their "common enemies." It's hard to get any information beyond that the Collective is treating him like an ambassador and he's being taken to their capital for negotiations. I haven't managed to obtain his likeness, most who saw him were over-awed by the wild flames from his undead dragon, but I was able to obtain a sketch of the emblem on his robes.
I'm worried that if his mission succeeds, the Collective may gain access to greater ability to cross the barrier. I'm drawing up plans now for a deep raid with Hella's company to disrupt things but the risks are enormous. If you know anything that may be of use, every bit counts.
