My Lady,
It has been too long since I've put pen to paper and it feels longer still since we've spoken. You broke through my many centuries of isolation and I truly find myself at a loss to describe how strange it feels to be away from your side, even when I'm eternally with such a remarkable little sister.
Beyond exceptional is the way the Empress, who sees most clearly in darkness, describes mine little sister, though seldom where she might hear it.
I've been informed that the first of our kin in the Crystal Spires have woken. I felt as though my tears could form a new sea, truly I dared not dream of such success. Though we accomplished with mutual labor, without you, it never would have manifested. While I know it is nothing less than what you would do for any loved one, my thanks to you is eternal.
In this time, I'll be helping to watch over Hella, but more than that, I'll be working with Alwen to prepare to assist the Empress, whose might covers the land, in her Great Working. There are things I may not put to page, but know that this working is to build a future after both the Barrier is removed and the war has reached conclusion. The scale is staggering but the dream is intoxicating. I hope to share details when we find a better way to communicate.
