Wildfire isn't alive, he's dead, I've seen the body. Some demons make use of Zephyr death rituals to forcibly animate the corpse of beasts but I've never seen anyone capable of doing that to a dragon's corpse. Well, never seen a demon that could do it. A Fae known as Galfen The Blight has tremendous talent at manipulating the dead. A thousand years ago or so, he had a pair of disciples who were trying seize the bodies of powerful creatures in an effort to become Undying. The disciples vanished, and Galfen's Fortress in the mountains was sealed behind a toxic forest. Maybe someone got at his Fortress or one of his disciples took a demon apprentice… either way, it's wicked magic that shouldn't exist.
