The pressure of being a leader amidst people who depend on you is something that everyone in this family will know at some point. Even Liliales is starting to understand the enormous pressure of princehood. Just remember that the oaths to be responsible are also oaths to compassion for yourself. You cannot be the leader they need if you are tormented by thoughts of letting them down. You’ll do fine.
I’ll have to tell Dal that you’ve been to see his family’s restaurant! He’ll be so proud. On this side, Trillium’s curse has been resolved to my satisfaction and she is safe. She’ll be happy to hear that you’re coming into your own as well.
And my dear, there is always something bigger that we can’t see. All we can ever do is our own small part in the tapestry.
