Carthian Tribe - Rabiya

They're considered odd by most Carthians, but also respected or revered Carthians are heavily connected to the moons but most place greater significance on the red moon This tribe places more significance on the silver moon They have very few warriors and in the Empire they're mostly known for the beauty of their art, music and dance The thing that gets them into the 'revered' category is that their mystics are on a whole other level There is Carthian magic practiced only by that tribe There are other Carthian tribes that have made pacts to protect this one, believing they are particularly holy And those 'other level' mystics would be terrifying in battle... if not for the fact that they're staunch pacifists Still, they produce the best healers in the Empire and even elven healers will visit this Carthian tribe to learn from In a way, they're similar to the Weaver's people... harming them is seen as a great crime But, unlike the Weaver's people, these folks engage in something that borders on fate weaving They use their magic to influence the minds and hearts of groups They negotiate between waring factions and can make people on each side of the table understand the POV of the other They can calm bloodlust and rage, soothe pain and fear, and they do so on a scale that sends profound ripples Their naturalists can paralyze an army, using magic to have nature itself turn against them (vines that bind, flowers that bloom sending clouds of sleep inducing pollen, etc) They can't discern the future but because they can work at large scale, Thalian has said that they don't need to see the threads to envision a specific future and work to bend fate to make it so
